Annie and Emily sit down for a lovely interview with the wonderfully talented medical illustrator, Avesta Rastan. Avesta is a medical illustrator and multimedia artist with lots of industry experience. In this interview, she talks about her education at the Biomedical Communications program, working for various companies as a medical illustrator and life as a freelance medical illustrator.
About Avesta:
Avesta is a medical illustrator and multimedia artist with lots of industry experience, she currently works as a multimedia production artist at W20 Radius Digital Science.
Avesta also runs her own educational channel, Lumi Science (@lumisci). Lumi Science is all about illustrating scientific topics through educational visuals. Topics include; academic research, public health, and the climate crisis.
